WINTER READING PROGRAM JANUARY 2 - FEBRUARY 28 Children, Teens, and Adults There is SNOW better time to read than winter. When the weather outside is chilly, curl up with a blanket, a warm drink, and a great story. This winter, join our Winter Reading Bingo Challenge and celebrate the joys of reading all season long! How to Play: 1.Pick up a bingo card for your age group (Kids OR Teen/Adult). 2.Complete challenges: Players read books or complete activities to fill in the squares on their card. 3.Mark off squares: Players cross off or color in the squares they complete. 4.Win bingo: Players earn a raffle ticket when they get five squares in a row, either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally to enter a prize drawing (up to 6 raffle tickets). 5.Children that complete the card receive a special prize. All raffle tickets must be entered by February 28th. The drawing will be held March 2nd. This cherished family-friendly event features enchanting snowy scenes, twinkling lights, and joyful sounds of the season. Along the way, kids will collect goodies and share holiday wishes with Santa and Mrs. Claus. This free event, sponsored by The Friends of the Kinsman Library, Hewett Family Sounds and Joni Woofter, promises to create lasting memories. Tinsel & Tacky: Ugly Sweater Workshop Thursday, December 11 Drop-in between 3:00 - 5:30 p.m. (All Ages) Bring in your own sweater, sweatshirt, or t-shirt. We will have all the stuff to make your sweater the “ugly sweater” you need for the holiday season. We will analyze an ancient Ayurvedic "sutra" (poem verse) that defines the qualities of a truly healthy person, while revealing practical secrets for cultivating wellness, longevity, and happiness that can improve your quality of life.
