GROW THE MIGRATRION - MONARCH BUTTERFLIES (2 part Event)

Target Age Group: Grade 3rd thru Adult

Preregister:  Call 330-876-2461

(Participants do not need to attend both programs)

 

Part one: Saturday, May 14th. From 11:00 am. - 12:00 pm.

Learn how to help the Monarch Butterfly population survive from presenter Jessica Dasinger.

Participants will learn about the Monarch Butterfly and how to grow an essential food source, milkweed.  Milkweed seeds will be provided and participants will help the library start its own butterfly garden by planting seedlings in the Reading Garden.

Part two: Wednesday, June 29th. From 11:00 am. - 12:00 pm.

Learn how you can help the Monarch Butterfly population survive from presenter Jessica Dasinger.

Participants will learn about the Monarch Butterfly, It's food sources and how to care for the butterfly during its earliest stage until it can be released back into the wild.
